The Pride of Baltimore II returned to Rockland, Maine on Aug 21-24 after previously visiting Portland while sailing along the eastern seaboard in honor of the 250th American Independence celebrations. She held tours over the weekend in Rockland docked at the city’s public landing.

The Pride of Baltimore II is a reproduction of an 1812-era Baltimore Clipper that was a fast, sleek vessel that gained fame as Privateers used them during the War of 1812.

This replica was built in 1987-88 and spans 157 feet.

The vessel’s home port is Baltimore and is operated by the Pride of Baltimore, Inc
