Since 1988, Bret has been helping companies benefit from using thermal imagers. Bret was elected President of MITI in 1996 and is directly responsible to MITI clients and all aspects of the MITI operations. Bret has written and presented papers on the use of thermal imaging at DOE, ACI, RESNET and PM conferences, and given presentations for building professionals and companies across the USA.  At the White House event, Bret will participate in a panel discussion on weatherization technology advancements.

Since 2009, the Administration’s energy efficiency investments have weatherized more than 850,000 homes, saving families more than an estimated $350 million a year and supporting more than 14,000 direct jobs. The weatherization program also has had positive impacts as a result of business generated by materials suppliers.
