There were a lot of print, TV and radio news stories and I would bring your attention particularly to this Maine Things Considered story

The report provides examples for the Joint Select Committee on Maine’s Energy Future of successful ways to create good jobs and cut energy bills with an accountable efficiency program and sustained, dedicated funding for investments. This site dedicated to the report also has other helpful links and resources, such as info on ARRA and how Maine can successfully capitalize on formula and competitive grant funds for energy efficiency, renewable energy and workforce investment.
We would like to thank the Betterment Fund, Davenport Trust, Maine Credit Union League, Maine Building Trades Council and Maine League of Young Voters for their support of this project.
Please share widely. Thanks.
