Maine Heritage Village is excited to begin its second season on May 1st, 2010. Over the winter months the village has been expanding its buildings and grounds to make room for artists and crafter’s to display more of their products for all to see. The Village offers artisans the most affordable retail space because we want visitors and Mainer’s to know what Maine is really all about. Artisans can rent a building to expand a business or start small and rent a wall or table display in the Maine Crafter’s Marketplace. The Maine Heritage Village was created to help promote all artisans in Maine and throughout New England.

The 2500 square foot Maine Crafter’s Marketplace at The Maine Heritage Village will house 1000′s of Made in Maine and New England products. Items include baked goods, candies, nuts, jam, wine, clothing, quilts, crafts and so much more. Bring your crafts and rent a table or wall display if you want to start out small. 2′x6′ tables start at $100.00 per month.

For artisans who have an established business and are looking to expand, the Village has custom built buildings on the grounds for rent starting at $250 per month. The Sugar Shack, Log Cabin and School House would be great solutions for any crafter’s needs.

The Village has events planned throughout the year and is becoming a frequent stopping off point for tourism buses traveling Route 1, the Village will give your business the exposure it needs to succeed.
